As you are aware, we sadly lost Gez on 21st February, to sepsis. Gez had been battling cancer for a number of years and had just started a new clinical trial that we had hoped would give him some more time with us, but sadly that was not to be. 

Over the past year or so, Gez's cancer treatment and care has been managed by the Cancer Centre at St James Hospital, Leeds. Throughout his treatment and during his final days, the staff were incredibly kind and supportive towards Gez and his family. For this reason we would like to ask that people do not send flowers for Gez, but instead make a donation to the Leeds Cancer Centre via this donation page. We hope that in doing so, the funds raised will help other families to have the same support when dealing with cancer, along with access to ground breaking research and new clinical trials.

As a family, we cannot put into words how much we will miss Gez, he was an amazing husband, dad and grandad and he has left an incredible void in our lives.
